We are currently looking for a Traffic Control Technician to join our Highways team in Brixworth to assist with various aspects of the operational management functions within a busy traffic control room and traffic signal design team. Key Responsibilities In this exciting Traffic Control Technician role, you'll help deliver a customer focused service through effective management of our road network, by dealing with internal and external customers who are involved or impacted by incidents. You'll be required to monitor the traffic flows via CCTV for traffic congestion and incidents, including the monitoring of fault management systems (FMS), Urban Traffic Control (UTC) and Remote Monitoring Systems (RMS). In addition, you'll be able to work under pressure and respond quickly to faults and incidents, coordinate communications between colleagues, partners and stakeholders and provide accurate and timely information, taking appropriate action to deal with any incident that impacts the flow of traffic. What do we need from you?
