The Part Time Administrative Assistant is responsible for assisting the Human Resources Department in providing exceptional customer service to the facility employees. This individual must be able to adapt to perform in a fast-paced environment, while keeping a positive attitude.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This individual is responsible for aiding in the following areas:
Scanning and filing personnel documents
Assisting with Onboarding of New Employees
Tracking the status of new hire evaluations
Assisting in creating documents/employee folders for training, peer reviews, etc
Assist in coordinating events such as employee meals, sounding board meetings, contests, retirement celebrations, etc.
Helping to plan and drive involvement in Project Gift events at Florence facilities.
Must be able to creatively advertise and manage employee communications (facility boards, SNN TV)
Assist in managing employee incentive programs (Birthdays, Gym Reimbursement, Flowers, Anniversaries, Employee Spotlights, and other recognition programs)
Aiding employees with basic HR needs such as log-ins, benefits enrollment, taking photos, and other general questions.
This part time Administrative Assistant must be willing to take on additional responsibilities in areas outside of the traditional human resource functions and have flexible hours as needed.
Qualifications and Experience Required
High school diploma, or equivalent, is required
Excellent P.C. skills including Outlook Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven business acumen, exceptional interpersonal capabilities and possess a strong attention to detail.
Ability to function and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced operating environment is critical.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing business environment.
Ability to operate efficiently in a team environment.
Must have responsible work habits.
