Role Responsibilities Responsible for the delivery and management of key data cleanse activities for all client's during the transition phase of the transaction. Key responsibilities include building the data cleanse capability within the DB team and providing direction to trustee administrators to ensure the effective delivery of the final data schedule at the end of the data cleanse. Additionally, the role will be key in supporting the Transition Relationship Managers and Transition Consultants with the planning of all transition activities and providing guidance on all aspects of our data requirements. Oversee all data training for Transition Managers and Client's Administrators to ensure queries are kept to a minimum and high quality data is delivered that requires minimal validation before handing over to the Implementation Services team. Over time the role will be pivotal for the build and delivery of our Residual Risk proposition working with the Director of DB Commercial, to ensure all requirements are captured and understood. Examples of Key Activities Manage the data cleanse team providing daily direction and leadership to team members, including allocation of client requests across the team to ensure customer expectations are always met . Develop data cleanse capability for DB team including ongoing process improvement, future resourcing and recruitment of team, ensuring resources are adequate to meet business needs, escalating issues as necessary.. Ensure required career development opportunities are available to the data cleanse team, ensuring the relevant training and support to the team ensure we have the required capabilities to provide the very best transition service at all times. Act as data specialist on relevant transition projects ensuring accuracy and completion of data provided by clients / EBCs, providing guidance to the Transition Relationship Managers with transition related queries relating to the quality of data. Oversee the effective management of all data cleanse activity until the data is received and validated, ensuring Trustees have the best customer experience at all times. Work with DB Member & Operational Services Heads of to understand data requirements and other data related activity that needs to be completed during the data cleanse process to ensure that the correct data is provided. Work with Relationship & Transition Senior Manager to understand capacity required to support transition team with data related queries alongside providing the data cleanse service to relevant clients. Work with DB Commercial to identify where the data cleanse service can be used to support existing and potential clients acting as point of contact for EBCs and Trustees for all queries relating to our data cleanse service. Provide regular team and data cleanse progress updates to Director of Data and Transitions, ensuring delays and issues are flagged in a timely manner. Skills and Knowledge Experience of running training course/programmes. Highly competent user of Open Source software, particularly Julia and Python. Knowledge of Financial Modelling. An aptitude for systems development and the ability to understand and manage complex concepts. Experience of coding for financial modelling purposes and/or data platform development within a large organisation Previous experience of working for a Financial Services organisation Previous experience of providing training to new users of programming code would be beneficial Experience in technically leading solution development and assisting team members with task delivery.
