This position will support the Clearing Solutions & Services team with responsibility for ensuring that the design and implementation of post trade and risk systems are compatible with FCM back-office systems. The role will contribute to the successful development and implementation of CME's post trade risk management and capital efficiency services. As manager of Back Office Systems Integration this role will work closely with commercial service providers as well as the technical staff at CME's clearing firms. This role reports to the Director of Clearing Solutions Team. The Solutions team partners closely with a broad set of stakeholders across CME Group: Clearing, Sales, Marketing, Enterprise Architecture, Technology, Execution and Strategy and Legal to expand and strengthen Clearing Services.
Principal Accountabilities:
• Analyze, understand, and document the impacts of any CME clearing system changes with respect to the Clearing Firm and Service Provider back-office system functionality
• Work with Service Provider and Clearing Firm Technology staff to support new CME initiatives and changes to external interfaces
• Leveraging deep knowledge of exchange traded derivatives space understand business need and design innovative solution proposals, validate with marketplace, build prototypes, requirements / specifications, and UAT planning/testing.
• Establish testing certification procedures with Clearing Firms and Service Providers to ensure readiness when system changes occur
• Document all changes in customer facing specifications to be used by Clearing Firm and Service Provider technical staff. Host meetings to review changes, impacts, test plans, and test results

Skills and Software Requirements:
• Experience with or aptitude for Systems Analysis, Financial Engineering, Risk Management, Financial Modeling, Customer Relationship Management
• Expertise and hands-on experience with Service Provider back office clearing systems
• Undergraduate studies: Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or Business
• Knowledge of financial services front, middle and back-office operations, workflows, systems, and strong experience partnering with technical teams across variety of SDLC methodologies (Kanban
• Experience with SQL, SQL queries, PCS, CGM, trade register, SPAN File
• Product experience with Exchange Traded derivative
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork
Hybrid work ( 2 days in the office)
