Join a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex systems within Honeywell Aerospace. You will be integral in creating system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will be involved in every aspect of the systems life cycle; from the front end of business development through product end of life.

Provide work direction and support for other engineers and technicians

Experience working in radiation environments, radiation facilities, and dosimetry systems to include prompt dose, total dose, neutron, proton and heavy ion

Determine and specify space environments for systems, subsystems and components

Understand space environment interactions with spacecraft components and materials.

Assist with requirements analysis and parts selection recommendations (eg. SCD's, PAR's).

Prepare test reports, present results and achieve customer approvals.

Experience with a majority of the following: TID, LDRS, DDD, SEE, SEU, SEL, SEB/SEGR, SET, RLAT

Experience in planning and execution of RLAT, SEE, and FXR tests on components and subsystems

Experience in using one or more radiation transport analysis (eg. GEANT4, MCNPX, NOVICE) or radiation effects testing




Bachelors degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering

5+ years of experience in radiation effects and system design

Due to ITAR, must be a US citizen


Security Clearance preferred

Knowledge of the systems development lifecycle

Individuals that quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts.

Diverse and global teaming and collaboration

Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done.

Ability to adapt dictated by project changes

Multi-tasking and has the ability to manage a variety of complicated tasks.
